CRMT takes part in the Mix-e trade show and the Ecogreen Energy Forum

15 May 2024

In recent weeks, CRMT has been asked to share its expertise as a specialist in alternative-fuel powertrains at various roundtables dedicated to the energy mix.

Mix-e, a key event in the low-carbon energy mix

As part of the 2024 edition, CRMT took part in the “Renewable Fuels: Major Projects, Partnerships and Innovations” round table, alongside Sophie Mariotti from TotalEnergie and Matthew Cleary from Blunomy.

This was an opportunity to share our experience in the research and development of engine testing technologies, highlighting the various issues involved in R&D: the importance of partnerships and customer relations, understanding current and future regulations, and the level of expertise required to explore new technologies.

We also took the opportunity to share our experience of the European collaborative RES4LIVE Project, for which we applied our retrofit know-how by converting a diesel farm tractor to Bio CNG.

Many thanks to MIX.E .E for its invitation, and to the various speakers for their constructive exchanges !

Ecogreen Energy Forum, 3rd edition of the forum dedicated to decarbonized mobility

As part of the EcoGreen Energy Challenge, CRMT was invited to take part in a round table dedicated to decarbonizing transport.

In the presence of Jean-Louis Lehuger from Transdev Pays de La Loire and ... Henry from the Pays de La Loire Region, we discussed our collaboration and our joint project to retrofit diesel coaches to CNG.

For several months now, we've been working on converting a Euro VI diesel coach to gas. This is the first solution to convert a diesel coach to the latest-generation bioNGV coach.

The forum enabled us to highlight the advantages and benefits of the retrofit solution, with the possibility of rapidly converting a fleet's vehicles at an attractive cost. A solution that fits perfectly into the energy mix.

We also went back over our expertise in retrofitting, developed through our various past experiences. Since the conversion of a London cab in 2005, not forgetting the solution implemented for Ecol'CAR, CRMT has acquired comprehensive know-how in retrofitting: feasibility study, selection of components, mastery of the homologation process or even emissions measurements to validate the solution...

With these various projects, CRMT continues to promote its expertise in vehicle and engine engineering.
